One Industry, One Voice!
The Georgian Book Association is dedicated to advancing Georgia's book industry, strengthening the publishing sector, protecting freedom to publish and freedom of expression, and promoting a culture of reading.
The Association was established in February 2025 on the initiative of a group of publishers and book distributors who withdrew from the Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association in protest.
Today, the Association brings together 28 member organizations - publishers and booksellers that play an active role in the development of Georgia's book market. It serves as a platform for representing and protecting the shared interests of its members while encouraging collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint efforts to address the challenges facing the industry.
Together We Create the Future of Georgian Books!
The Association brings together representatives of the Georgian book industry, who collectively account for approximately 70% of Georgia’s book market.
